Haiti Happened in Berlin
TIS new dates were announced at ITB Berlin in Germany this week. With over 160 countries represented and welcoming 114,000+ visitors from around the globe, ITB Berlin is the largest travel trade show in the world. It was the perfect opportunity to let the tourism world know that Haiti’s Tourism Innovation Summit will take place in the summer from June 27-29th .
As you may know, the past few months have been tough for Tourism in Haiti. The challenges are significant but now is the time to start addressing these hurdles head-on, by proposing sustainable, creative and innovative solutions.
The Tourism Innovation Summit aims to be a space that unites key stakeholders voices in a collective effort to address the Haiti Tourism sector’s most pressing issues. The TIS team is renewing its commitment to creating a space that facilitates an exchange of ideas and resources that will spur interest, inspire collaboration and attract strategic investment for Haitian tourism.
From June 27-29, 50 global and local speakers, 100+ Haitian business leaders as well as 25 local and international companies will come together in the historical city of Cap-Haitien , for two days of conferences, workshops, and networking events. Together, we will redefine the future of the promising Haitian Tourism sector.

Most of our previous speakers have already confirmed their participation at the TIS in June. Influential speakers from Travel Noire , Marriott , Sunrise Airways , Group Moural, Blavity , Buteau Hospitality Group, Groupe Fatima, Haiti's Ministry of Tourism and UN Foundation more will enrich our conversations between June 27-29.
